About Cameron Liddle
I am an individual very passionate about pathology, chemistry and forensic science. I have completed an undergraduate/honour degree at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). The honours project was provided and assisted by the Australian Federal Police (AFP). The project involved comparing the traditional activated carbon strips technique with activated carbon cloth in passive headspace extraction of ignitable liquids and explosives. I am currently employed as a 'Chemist' for Viatris Pharmaceuticals. I have previously been employed as a 'Scientific Officer' in the Toxicology department at Laverty Pathology and a 'Forensic Fire Examiner/Laboratory Analyst' at GKA Investigations Group. I have gained valuable skills about forensic science, pathology and chemistry applied in a work environment. I have assisted out in the field at post fire scenes; followed the relevant extraction techniques to isolate samples for both identification and quantification (illicit drug testing, fire debris analysis, organic residue, etc) and reporting these results to the requesting clients. I have been described as a quick learner, who is always eager to continue to learn and grow no matter what environment I am in. I have a high work ethic and have been working ever since I could (14 years old). Being a supervisor has taught me lifelong skills about working well in a team, how to successfully manage a workforce, customer service and able to work in different departments when required. I also enjoy global travel and playing/watching sport such as soccer, AFL, cricket and basketball. I am always up for a chat if you would like to connect or you would like to contact me by email:Email: liddlecameron93@gmail.com
