About Cameron Macmillan

As Chief Executive Officer, I am dedicated to achieving the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority's vision to be a preferred provider of government financial assistance programs with a particular focus on rural and regional Queensland.Since commencing this role in August 2015, my focus has been on proactivity, service excellence and meeting the needs of our clients, customers and stakeholders, including during the organisation's transition from QRAA in July 2017.As an international and agribusiness specialist, I've had first-hand experience in trade commissioner roles within the Asia Pacific region. Prior to my current role, I held the position of Executive Director, International Business with BDO and spent 15 years as a Trade Commissioner and State Manager with the Australian Trade Commission (AUSTRADE).
