Responsible for through life managing and forecasting the $5 million p.a. repair loop of all RNZN rotable and ANZAC rotable pool spares Fleet wide. Other responsibilities include the planning and re certification management of small craft, ship borne height safety equipment, chain and rigging, life rafts and Personal Floatation Devices. I also manage all minor commercial work and manufacturing of bespoke seamanship equipment. Building and maintaining close relationships with repair and certification agents both locally and globally has helped to enhance productivity and planning for Babcock NZ. I am also responsible as the Babcock NZ Trade Agreement Officer in the control and observation of current TAAs and in agreeing new TAAs with prospective agents, especially in regards to ITAR.

Providing 'through life' repair support for an MoD prime contract for Surveillance and Target Acquisition (STA) equipment for Future Integrated Soldier Technology (FIST). Close liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and the MoD to facilitate repair timelines and discuss liability for sentencing of repair items.Providing trend analysis in conjunction with OEM engineering reports and user statements. Analysis used to highlight potential engineering problems within the MoD wide fielding of new FIST STA equipment.

Logistics manager for a highly mobile, global, quick reaction media production team. Providing expertise in all logistical matters from shipping of vehicles and equipment worldwide to deployed inventory management. Also within my remit as a Media and Communications officer I was part of a team that provided training days for Media personnel in the installation and management of a Media Operations Centre. This includes monitoring and analysis of media product, and planning of media facilities. Modernisation of management of media facilities to reflect current media interest in defence matters.
