This was a virtual summer book club started during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to bring Black and Brown students together to read texts that reflect their own experiences. From Ta-Nehisi Coates to Angie Thomas, we walked the students through these texts and facilitated sensitive discussions regarding how these pieces impacted the generation that read them and what these texts mean today.
