As the External Relations Manager I combine strategic planning, communication, and engagements to promote the organization’s mission and goals. In addition, I play a key role in seeking out speaking engagements for our Executive and Deputy Directors, as well as be responsible for assisting with the annual conference planning. I also have a pivotal role in identifying and managing all WiCyS event opportunities, ensuring our organization's presence at key industry/partner events. Coordinate all events and weekly giveaways for WKSS, WUCS, and WPOP radio stations. Every week, I execute all events from the time the paperwork comes from the sales team to the time the team is back from the event. All three of my stations also put on several big events throughout the year, that I have a large part in creating ideas, and executing them to completion with success. I also take care of all giveaways done through my stations from inception to the time winners pick up their prizes. I take of online event listings on all three station websites, as well as having a large part in growing both the WUCS and WPOP station Twitter and Facebook pages. During every school semester there are 20-25 interns in which I manage their schedule, and make sure they are learning at every opportunity during their internship. I also manage 3-5 people in our Promotional Activation Team. Plus, I have a strong relationship with sales representatives and on-air talent.

I have an every weekend on-air shift, and fill in when needed for all shifts. I also have a station blog page that I update for every shift. I update the KC101 Facebook and Twitter pages, during my on- air shifts, as well as have my own Twitter handle.

Along with my part time board operations duty included working event for the eight radio stations in the Clear Channel Connecticut cluster. I went out on events for the radio stations and was in charge of driving the station vehicle, setting up the event, making sure the jock was on time and knew what their responsibilities were, and managing two interns.
