I was born and raised in Southern California and I now find myself constantly getting the question, “why did you come to freezing Michigan from sunny California?”. I attended the University of Michigan and connected myself with “the leaders and the best”. I was surrounded by other passionate, design crazy, and problem-solving fanatics just like myself and I couldn't feel any more at home. I received my degree in May of 2019 in Industrial and Operations Engineering and found as my time in undergrad came to an end, I began to understand how my interests had shifted from a more technical and mechanical focus to business and strategy-oriented one. I can say one thing for sure, I knew I hadn’t fully satisfied the businessman within me which led me to earn my master’s degree in Management culminating in May of 2020. With my education and professional background in the many Operations based settings, I can employ the skills I’ve learned to the many new business problems I encounter. I am experienced with using data analysis to formulate conclusions and improve business operations and efficiencies. In today’s rapidly-changing, fast-moving business world, it’s imperative companies strive to be as efficient as possible. With this mentality, I am hoping to make every place I encounter and or work at just a little bit better than before I got there. Go blue.

As a consultant for ArborMetrix, I conducted interviews with members of the Solutions Delivery Team to gain insight on the issues plaguing the implementation of Scrum into a non-traditional setting or a project management team. My work led to stronger communication among team members and standardization of key terms that are used within the Solutions Delivery Team. I analyzed data extracts to determine trends, patterns, and inconsistencies in how numerous Scrum teams conducted their work resulting which were summarized in weekly reports. My team and I designed and created an Excel dashboard for Solution Delivery Team manager to measure the four Scrum teams KPIs by utilizing slicers to see individual or aggregate team data.

As the intern for the DNPI team at Urban Science's branch ChannelVantage, I did extensive work in SQL and Excel. My work included building a system that could asses the impact of changing geographic tracts assigned to dealers in live time. At ChannelVantage, our only client was General Motors, therefore it was essential that deliverables were of the highest quality in which I developed automated audits in SQL to check the team's market analysis deliverables. I loved the friendly and community aspect of the company in which I helped foster by co-leading the intern committee planning outside of work events for the 19 Detroit interns.

As the director of brand management and marketing, often called "Swag Chair" internally by brothers, for my fraternity, the Delta chapter of Delta Tau Delta, I let my creative side loose by creating 18 products over the course of my tenure. I catered to a large portion of the fraternity leading to average order increase of 59%. I also lead a team of 12 members that I delegated to sub-committees assigned to different upcoming events and managed the design process for each team. As my time as director came to an end, I helped the new director facilitate communication with my manufactures and gave him a general timeline of how projects are run. I was quoted by a brother as "the best Swag chair the fraternity has ever seen".

During my time as NORMA's Production Operations Intern, I built an excel and VBA based production tracking used by plant managers which calculated each shift's production and graphed them against the set quotas. I ran daily quality assurance checks on machines by chasing "Red Rabbits", purposely flawed parts that I placed in a machine to ensure all the sensors were calibrated within a tolerable amount. I solved a dispute between the company and a supplier by conducting a case study which shed light on why an adhesive was cracking during production. I also helped facilitate a more organized, efficient, productive, and safe work environment by working with the Operations Excellence leader to implement the standards of the KAIZEN 5s system.

At Lotus of West Covina, I managed all of the social media content via Instagram to raise awareness and strengthen brand relevancy through firstly deleting non-relevant posts and then generating follower-focused content, increasing engagement by 200%. I also served as a brand ambassador for Lotus of West Covina and Sage Automotive group as various Southern California events such as the San Marino Motor Classic, the DUB Show, and Cars and Coffee with the Lotus Club of Southern California. I was able to incorporate my love for motorsports when I was put in charge of the Lotus Driving Academy at the Thermal Club where I scheduled and lead classes on racecraft.

As the drive team captain, my responsibilities involved all the things in regard to operating the robot. I held tryouts and created an evaluation for members of the team who wanted to be a driver, developed the team's in-game strategy, assigning the driver rotation based on which members worked best with each other, scheduled practice days, and helped design the controls center console to maximize driver compatibility and communication. Outside of the moving aspect of the robot, I designed the robot's grabbing mechanism by using my experience from playing football to suggest that we should coat our robot arms with the material from football gloves due to the high coefficient of friction.

I operated in the high pressure and quick-moving environment of Hollywood while engaging professionals in various departments within a production company to understand production aspects such as preproduction, lighting, sound, art, wardrobe, and direction.
