I am currently a PhD candidate in the Complex Transportation Systems Laboratory at the University of Canterbury. My research centres around the modelling and optimisation of shared on-demand transportation services, particularly considering urban traffic dynamics and interactions between the on-demand fleet and surrounding traffic. Outside of studying I enjoy singing and playing violin, performing solo and as part of various groups.

The USER (Undergraduate Studies in Earthquake Resilience) summer research programme is a 10-week summer research internship at the University of Canterbury coordinated by Te Hiranga Rū QuakeCoRE: the New Zealand Centre for Earthquake Resilience. The aim of the programme is to provide multi-disciplinary research opportunities for undergraduate students to become exposed to various aspects of earthquake resilience problems.My main focus during the programme was creating a tool that converts earthquake acceleration recordings to audio. This audio can be used to demonstrate earthquake site effects, helping visually impaired people and auditory learners to understand features of earthquakes. The converter can also be used to generate custom music from earthquake acceleration recordings.
