Lead product manager for Zelle across mobile, API, and WWW development. I manage the strategic vision and business strategy for Zelle, with overall goals of increased customer usage across P2P, C2B, and B2C use cases; increased customer satisfaction; and decreased fraud. Formerly, I led a top-to-bottom rebuild of the online wire transfers consumer experience. I was awarded Capital One’s Circle of Excellence award for my leadership on this enterprise-wide effort.Select achievements• Performed analysis to identify critical feature improvements to the Zelle experience, resulting in an increased customer completion rate from 74 to 90%.• Partnered with fraud teams to overhaul our fraud controls: increased policy coverage, reduced fraud losses via Zelle, and increased real-time payments for consumers.• Served as the Product Owner for three sprint teams to rebuild the customer experience of online wire transfers. Resulted in increased completion rate for customers and reduced manual processing by operations teams.• Directly led efforts to modernize the tech stack for wire transfers, creating reusable, cloud-native APIs to consolidate for all money movement experiences.Day-to-day responsibilities• Manage roadmap and tradeoffs across consumer needs, tech debt, as well as tech resource and operational support availability.• Coach and mentor junior product managers.• Represent Capital One to third party network of over 200 financial institutions, driving easy, secure money movement across hundreds of millions of U.S. customers.• Analyze consumer usage of Zelle and competitors to inform prioritization.• Socialize vision with executives for buy-in on KPIs, prioritization, and resourcing / scaling the team.• Partner with design stakeholders to conduct user research and usability testing on new and improved features.• Work with risk, legal, and compliance teams to respond to requests from regulators, including audits, exams, and requests for information.
