This program supports start-ups harnessing innovative approaches to halt biodiversity loss, aligning with global frameworks like the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.As the Convenor, I lead a collective of Contributing Experts from around the world, each bringing decades of hands-on experience in Nature-based Solutions, biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, and NatureTech. My role involves curating the e-learning content, organising and facilitating live sessions, and fostering an engaging, collaborative environment where participants can gain insights and strategies to develop impactful Nature-based enterprises.EcoLaunch offers a blend of online content and live expert-led masterclasses, structured across three intensive four-week sprints. By convening thought leaders and entrepreneurs in this dynamic space, I’m dedicated to supporting ventures that create a Nature-positive impact, driving solutions that are ecologically restorative and economically sustainable.

I develop the course content and teach an 18-month Diploma of Sustainable Operations to current and aspiring sustainability officers and consultants. The course covers the practical and technical aspects of managing and improving sustainability in organisations, including developing business cases for sustainability improvements and strategic sustainability plans, and sustainability reporting. I teach students how to measure and report carbon footprint, how to conduct a sustainable water use audit, and how to develop strategies for more sustainable use of resources. There are interesting subjects like "Circularity Design Thinking and Supply Chain Leadership".

We work with Australian change-makers and social entrepreneurs to improve the positive social and environmental impact of programs, policies, social innovation and social enterprise. For each client, I assemble a small team with evaluation and relevant subject matter expertise. We develop an Evaluation Plan and Evaluation Framework, collect and analyse evidence, then make an assessment of the positive and negative environmental and social impact and make recommendations for how the program, policy, social innovation or social business model can be improved. My role was to develop the social enterprise sector in the Barwon Southwest Region of Victoria, which is Greater Geelong and west to the South Australian border. This entailed creating a connected community of social enterprises, developing social entrepreneurs and their staff through training, education and professional development, and advocating on behalf of the regional sector to influence government policy and budgets.

The Social Enterprise Community is a tribe of people who are passionate about using for-purpose businesses to drive social impact. As the Convenor, I create opportunities for social entrepreneurs and others with an interest in social entrepreneurship to connect and share insights.I administer the Social Enterprise Community Members' site, a space to share resources, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities to collaborate.I organise regular Social Enterprise Masterclasses, each one with a different panel of global thought leaders and experienced practitioners. I worked as a Data Analyst with the South West Primary Care Partnership (SWPCP). SWPCP is a voluntary alliance of community and health service agencies across South West Victoria. SWPCP works with member agencies and the community to identify, prioritise, and deliver evidence-based solutions that address complex health and wellbeing issues. My role was to review the evidence-base to advise on the development and selection of programs and to analyse and evaluate public health data and derive insights that inform health promotion and municipal public health and wellbeing planning.

I worked with SEED Consulting, a specialist team within Deakin University based in the School of Psychology and associated with the Strategic Research Centre for Social and Early Emotional Development (SEED). The Group provides consulting support to Deakin partners, with a strong focus on Prevention Science and providing high quality and informative evaluations and research support, aligned with the evidence base for healthy development across the lifespan from infancy to early adulthood.SEED aims to promote a secure start to emotional life in all children and young people. We achieve this through original research on the developmental origins of mental health and disorder. We advise on the most effective approaches to promoting wellness and intervening at the earliest opportunities in troubled pathways. We bring together life-course, clinical and public health research and practice to describe the major milestones in emotional life. We then engage systems for translating our research knowledge broadly to the community, organisations and government.

Communities That Care Warrnambool aims to improve education attainment and the healthy development of children and young people and prevent antisocial behaviour and alcohol and drug use.It works to prevent health and social problems by addressing the factors that increase the likelihood of positive development and decrease the likelihood of adverse outcomes for children and young people.Brophy Family and Youth Services partnered with Communities That Care Ltd in a Department of Justice and Regulation funded project to deliver Communities that Care in Warrnambool.

With the other Councillors I was responsible for the governance of an organisation with 500 employees, $160 million budget and $1 billion in assets; as well as the leadership of a community of 72,000 people.I was Chair of the Coast and Estuary Management Committee, Chair of the Heritage Advisory Committee and Chair of the Arts and Cultural Development Taskforce. I was on the Sewerage Steering Committee and Water Steering Committee, which oversaw a $300 million capital works programme. I was on the Economic Development Board which developed a Retail Strategy, an Industrial Lands Strategy, an Airport Precinct Plan and coordinated all economic development efforts. I was on the Social Planning Working Group, which developed a Social Plan using the Asset Based Community Development model, addressing issues such as housing, transport, education, health and social inclusion. I was on the master planning committee for a green-field town which over a year achieved consensus between developers, environmentalists and State agencies on a Structure Plan. I conceived and championed scores of initiatives, including a Housing Affordability Strategy, Ethnic Affairs Strategy and a Greenhouse Gas Reduction Strategy, achieving carbon neutrality. During my term I debated and participated in around 3000 decisions and for each and every one read all available background reports and briefing papers.
