About Cameron Schober, Lpc-S Lmft-S

Through all of my experiences, I realized my gift and passion is in listening to those needing a person to confide in and spurring others on to greater places. With that in mind, in Fall of 2011 I began pursuing my graduate degree and (finally!) graduated August 2014 with a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as being eligible to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have completed specialized training at institutes around the world, presented at the International Family Therapy Association World Congress, and co-founded the Professional Organization of Advancing Counselors (POAC) to serve student counselors bridge the gap between their counseling education and their professional mental health career. My main areas of focus in training have been narrative therapy practice, solution-focused practice, Accelerated Resolution Therapy treatment, and issues surrounding grief and loss. My work history is currently focused on clinical mental health, specifically with those having acute/severe mental illness. However, growing in the mental health field is never complete which makes me eager to continually learn from others, colleagues and clients alike. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and feel free to contact me!
