I am the lead partner in the insurance litigation team at Mullins Lawyers. Recognised as a specialist in the area of insurance litigation, I was one of the first solicitors in Queensland to be an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injuries Litigation. I act for defendants and have acted for some of the largest self-insurers in Queensland in a wide range of personal injuries actions.My areas of expertise include advising on matters in workers' compensation insurance, compulsory third party (motor vehicle) insurance, public liability insurance, general insurance and general torts law.I act or have acted for self-insured mining companies, manufacturers and local government bodies in matters involving workers compensation and injury claims. I have represented employers in coronial inquiries and have successfully defended fraudulent claims, as well as claims involving catastrophic injury.
