In this role my focus shifted from supporting the entire Retail business to a focus on supporting Marketing, particularly around our lead process. I continued to maintain reporting around our lead performance and provide insight regarding the business to a variety of business leaders. I also took on projects related to various marketing initiatives including designing a process to target new borrowers who entered our Portfolio through the Correspondent channel for a welcome drip campaign. This included working with other departments to automate a data flow that could be used for reporting and analysis.I and other members of my team vetted a variety of business intelligence tools including Tableau and PowerBI as the licensing and distribution cost for QlikView was determined to be unacceptable. We ultimately recommended PowerBI which has been adopted by the business and we are developing a variety of dashboards utilizing that program.I personally have gained extensive experience in PowerBI and am utilizing it to create better data layers for reporting purposes. This includes deploying reports through the PowerBI Service as well as utilizing PowerBI desktop to generate custom reports.I have further enhanced my understanding of the lead generation business and am currently working to enhance reporting around this business and deepen organizational knowledge of it. This includes restructuring our unified data source and coordinating the various departments involved to ensure alignment among the different stakeholders.

In this role my primary responsibility was to provide reporting and analysis regarding the performance of leads for the Consumer Direct business. This included learning about the lead generation process for our New Customer Acquisition and Portfolio Retention efforts. To fulfill this role I became familiar with our Lead Management System, Velocify, as well as concepts relating to obtaining and converting leads. I was also required to develop a table in SQL Server that combined data from our LMS and our various Loan Origination Systems, identify users in Velocify and join them to other employee data, and structure our data to properly handle the various stages of lead maturation (acquisition, assignment, contact, conversion, nurture, etc.).Additionally, I developed a dashboard in QlikView that allowed business leaders to review the performance of leads based on lead acquisition month. This formed the basis for our all in reporting regarding lead performance. I enhanced my SQL and Excel skills during this time including gaining a greater understanding of Stored Procedures, Views, Pivot tables and charts, and Excel data tables. These enabled me to more quickly generate meaningful ad hoc reports relevant to our business.

My primary responsibility was to support the Retail Channel with needed reporting. This included development of reports to be deployed through Microsoft Excel as well as SSRS. These reports provide key insights to functional leaders across the business. In this capacity I gained additional SQL skills as well as developed a greater understanding of the mortgage and fiance industries.Additionally, I was responsible for the monthly business review book which provides senior executive management as well as Channel leadership with critical information regarding the business.

I was responsible for various technical aspects of Performance Enhancement projects. This included development of SharePoint lists and Surveys for enterprise-wide or business unit specific deployment. Occasionally I was required to design custom forms with InfoPath as well as develop workflows using Nintex Workflow. I also produced ad hoc reports using SQL Server and other data sources as necessary.I was primarily responsible for the development of the Performance Enhancement database in SQL Server. The main purpose of this database was to house data collected through SharePoint (or other systems as needed) regarding employee participation in Performance Enhancement projects. I then integrated this data with existing employee level data to gain crucial insights into employe performance and progress.In my former role in the Acquisitions Department (June 2011-August 2013) I was primarily responsible for data mapping in order to board loans acquired from other mortgage services onto Nationstars' servicing system. This included working with internal and external business partners to correctly map the data and test its status once boarded.

As an escrow specialist my duties primarily dealt with researching and correcting borrowers' escrow accounts. This included data analysis, data entry, and research. On a monthly basis the Escrow Department also support Mod Booking by performing an "Escrow Quote" for modifications to be booked that month. This requiring meeting specific quotas and deadlines.Over time my role developed into data analysis and process improvement. I updated our daily wire record keeping process and saved the department 8 hours of work per audit through these changes. Additionally, I began working with Microsoft SQL Server and Access. This allowed me to develop multiple queries to assist the department in data collection and analysis.

My primary functions in this role were to address borrowers' questions and concerns in an inbound call-center. This entailed a variety of tasks aimed at resolving borrower issues through one phone call. After a few months I was placed on the HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program) to assist borrowers attempting to qualify for the program. This involving keeping up with the evolving standards of the program and keeping borrowers informed and engaged in the process.

Worked with Mr. Elliott Dubin (Director of Policy Research) compiling information and data to fight H.R. 5267. I also worked on various other assignments to assist in the maintenance of state sovereignty and sensible tax policy. This included ad hoc research and analysis as well as data collection and entry. Most of my work was focused on preparing a policy paper to combat H.R. 5267 by describing its deleterious effects on state tax revenue and sovereignty.Co-wrote the article "Musings from the Bat Cave" which appeared in the Summer 2008 MTC Review.

Did ad hoc maintenance and improvement to the volunteer EMS website utilizing the Dreamweaver software program. I had previous HTML coding experience which I used with Dreamweaver. Cleaned up the website and made it more user friendly and functional. Began to do some work on a basic database for members but the semester ended prior to completion of this task.

Started at Blockbuster as a Customer Service Representative. Promoted to Shift Leader (essentially a day manager) after about 4 months. My daily responsibilities included providing quality customer service and managing 1-3 people. Additionally, I had to balance the drawers at the POS at closing and opening and deposit the previous day's cash revenue when opening.I also had to execute certain sales initiatives including setting up and taking down displays, organizing sales racks, and reorganizing inventory as appropriate.
