This includes ultimate oversight, as MD, of CEC Mining Systems (CECMS), having led the company from its inception through ongoing capital project growth to its current operational excellence throughout five continents.I also serve as Director at AMIX Systems and CEO at Canadian Critical Minerals Research (CCMR), our two wholly owned subsidiary companies. CECMS‘s sister companies each have a differentiated industry and strategic focus, specializing in metals and mining process equipment manufacturing, heavy-civil, tunneling and underground backfill applications, along with metallurgical and chemical research and development.After a decade in progressively senior roles in the mining and metals industry, I have built a reputation as a unifier of teams and an innovative entrepreneur who effectively drives the planning, design, and execution of capital projects and initiatives in the Americas, Africa, Asia, and South America.Previously, I led the development of the largest ceramic disc vacuum filtration plant in Africa and the Northern Hemisphere - the second largest in the world. As well, I started, grew, and profitability exited from a laboratory / services engineering company, which remains in operation to this day.As a global leader with embedded experience around the world, I am committed to, and skilled at, building economic uses cases that intertwine industrial development with the fundamental values of a green energy transition. With a track record of creating and growing businesses, I have illustrated that profitably running a METS business does not need to be made in the absence of care to the environment and sustainability.International travel is a professional pursuit and a personal passion - I spend 160 days abroad annually for both work and pleasure. I also contribute to the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) as a volunteer and I am an ex-varsity athlete from McGill, continuing my football passions by coaching in the YVR-community programs.
