My first introduction to actually interacting with Ethereum (besides just trading) was around 2017 during the ICO boom. I was involved in a decentralized project that democratized participating in an ICO via smart contract and incentivized collective participation as a benefit to everyone involved. My next foray was programmatically birthing cryptokitties -- which was hilarious and profitable for a while. Then in 2018, we founded Mythical Games where I developed dGoods, our non-fungible token (NFT) standard. At this time, very few people had even heard of blockchain let alone NFTs. Currently, I help lead our strategy and design around all things blockchain. This includes in-game economy design, NFT sale design, partnerships, legal compliance, and still some smart contract development -- though a lot less than before.I have roughly 14 patents (Oct 22) related to gaming, blockchain, and machine learning with more on the way all the time.Separately, I have been a full stack machine learning engineer and led a team of machine learning engineers working on problems related to price prediction, recommendation, and optimization around user behavior. I have literally done it all in the field: signal processing, graph based clustering, streaming text classification, real-time image classification, LLMs, recommendation, classical and Bayesian statistics... the list goes on.
