NATAS Emmy, Platinum & Gold Viddy, Platinum DotComm, Platinum & Gold AVA Award winner Cameron Taylor Robbins is dedicated to using the newest technology and advancements so that no creative endeavor is impossible to explore. He’s passionate about telling lasting stories through the art of film, and well-versed in the elements required to make the highest quality pictures. A self-proclaimed “dabbler,” Cameron is at once filmmaker, composer, musician, sound designer, actor, teacher, and avid L.A. Dodger fan.Hailing from Los Angeles, Cameron launched himself into the music and photography scene at a young age, leading to performances in such places like the world renowned Benny Goodman stage at Walt Disneyland California and Boston Calling Block Parties, before heading to Europe and Australia to study and perform with elite class orchestras. In 2002, armed with an education in photojournalism and filmmaking from The Art Institute of California — Los Angeles, Cameron entered into the exciting world of television news, a career that has allowed him to put his keen eye, imaginative flair, and professional work ethic to use in television stations across California, Oregon, and, now, Massachusetts.Along the way, he’s been part of several thrilling adventures, including an Emmy-winning food and entertainment show, radio commercials in the Bay Area of California, a featured artist with airplay on a local radio station in Fresno, California, host of a popular news and entertainment radio program on 96.9 WTKK, tireless instruction in sound design, post scoring, and voice-over work with acclaimed technician David Whitaker in Sacramento, CA. He never stops studying his craft, and, to continue to learn and grow, he attends workshops by British filmmaker and cinematographer Philip Bloom and Alex Buono (Cinematographer for “Saturday Night Live” and Russian Doll), pores over countless sites and publications on music, sound work, technology, plays in his band the Bourbon Chasers internationally and throughout local venues and participates in lively film discussions on X/Twitter. His newest endeavor has been teaching photography students advance Digital Filmmaking at Endicott College.He currently lives in Beverly, Ma with his lovely wife, two sons and daughter.
