While working as a Cemetery Caretaker at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, I gained experience in groundskeeping and funeral services. My responsibilities included using a variety of tools, such as shovels, hand tools, tractor-trailers, Gator carts, and back hoes, to dig and fill graves. I also planted and maintained the gardens throughout the park, including mowing the lawn and placing and maintaining grass and weeds. In addition, I assisted with the setup and tear-down of funeral services, including the decoration and operation of casket dropping machines.In this role, I developed my skills in physical labor, attention to detail, and teamwork. I also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of providing a respectful and well-maintained environment for the bereaved.

As a Retail Assistant at Asel Art Supply, I gained valuable experience in customer service and retail operations. My responsibilities included working the cash register, restocking shelves, cleaning the store, and opening and closing the store. I also had the opportunity to assist customers with finding the art supplies that best fit their specific needs and offer them supplies and suggestions for future projects. In addition, I shared artistic techniques and demonstrated products for customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

While working as a cook at "Adair's Saloon," I gained valuable experience in the culinary arts and the fast-paced environment of a small kitchen. My responsibilities included preparing a variety of dishes, such as fries, tots, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and wings, and handling raw ingredients with care. I also had to restock and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, which was often busy during the lunch rush.

My responsibilities included checking IDs, handling unruly customers, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment at the end of the night. I used my communication and problem-solving skills to handle difficult situations and worked as part of a team to contribute to the overall safety and security of the venue.

My responsibilities included preparing and serving a wide variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine, while also interacting with customers and handling their requests.I had the opportunity to work on the busiest night of the week and often covered for coworkers, which required a high level of adaptability and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Overall, my time as a server at this popular Cajun restaurant was a challenging but rewarding experience.

The role was part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional service to customers.

I also had to navigate challenges with management and work as part of a team to contribute to the success of the store.Through this experience, I gained valuable skills in time management, customer service, teamwork, and the ability to handle challenges and work effectively under pressure.

Working as a busser at AMC Dine-In Movie theaters allowed me to develop a range of skills, including physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while adhering to strict time schedules. In this role, I was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining areas during movie showings, which could be challenging due to the high-stress environment and the difficulty of navigating the steeply-inclined seating while carrying drinks and food in the dark.I also had the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of customers, providing them with directions and memorizing showtimes. This experience helped me to develop my customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations. I also learned the importance of adaptability, as the theater had recently been renovated to become a Dine-In theater and I had to learn new procedures and processes as a result.

As a 3D modeler for Interceptor Entertainment (now known as Slipgate Ironworks), I had the opportunity to work on the cancelled Duke Nukem: 3D Reloaded project, a Duke Nukem 3D remake that was given creative license by Gearbox Studios, the owners of the IP. In this role, I was responsible for creating 3D models for the game, using my skills in 3D art and design.
