Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Cameron Fraser is a contemporary circus artist, with an extensive background in performing and visual arts, spanning over two decades. Cameron is the Artistic Director of both Break|Contemporary Circus, a theatrically based contemporary circus company, and Escapist Entertainment, a projection design, clothing, and graphic design company. He has studied at the University of Victoria, Emily Carr University of Art and Design and the Victoria School of Contemporary Dance. Cameron is a practicing artist in contemporary circus, digital media, digital video, animation, acting, projection design, lighting design, theatre creation, and photography. He is a member of the Union of BC Performers/ACTRA, a jugglegear.com Sponsored Artist, and a Guinness World Record Holder. Cameron has been professionally active as a theatre practitioner, designer and contemporary circus artist for over 10 years, creating, directing, designing, producing and performing in new theatrically based works, at corporate events, arts and music festivals and large scale productions both nationally and internationally, from Montreal, Canada to Chennai, India. Recently, Cameron has been working with one of the top Projection Designers in Canada, James Nesbitt.
