Lead a team of experienced IT technicians responsible for providing technology and infrastructure support for over 300 small business clients. As the team lead, in addition to serving as a technical resource, I also performed personnel/managerial duties, such as hiring, coaching, and discipline (as needed).

As a Senior Web Advisor, I worked directly with front-line support agents to assist them with any technical issues they were speaking about with their customer via internal chat. Senior Web Advisors also handled technical escalation calls from customers that were upset with some aspect of the service, or were unable to resolve a technical issue with the previous agent, and wanted to speak with somebody else. Helpdesk Technicians were responsible for every internal support chat from members of all teams across the company. These chats came from members of Technical Support, Billing, Terms of Service, Legal, Management, and various other departments that required any form of assistance from another team.Included in these responsibilities was the task of generating and updating reports of internal system errors, and referring them to the respective teams required to fix them. Other jobs included minor fixes for shared servers, such as working with third-party RBLs to de-list blacklisted IP addresses, or clearing email queues.

Web Advisors were Level 1 technical support representatives that received inbound calls or chats from customers in regards to any technical aspect of their Bluehost/cPanel accounts. Web Advisors specifically worked on Bluehosts's Shared platform, which primarily consisted of educating customers on how to use the tools that were available. This included file management, DNS, domain registration/assignment, email accounts and client setup, and basic website management, with a specific focus on WordPress websites. Web Advisors were expected to resolve simple website issues, but to stay within a relatively basic scope of support to ensure consistency between all agents on the team. I worked as a part-time Social Media Specialist simultaneously with my Web Advisor responsibilities. They both entailed more or less the same level of support, but through different channels of communication. In this position, I replied to customers via Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube comments using Hootsuite.
