I work with clients to provide decision support tools, techno-economic analysis, and technical advice to assist them in their efforts to accelerate the clean energy transition. Particular areas of expertise: mathematical modelling; portfolio optimization; energy & power system modelling; energy storage modelling; resource planning; variable renewable integration.

I worked within the university's Institute for Integrated Energy Systems (IESVic) where I conducted research focused on deep decarbonization pathways for Western Canada. This included:- Developing electricity and energy system optimization models.- Modelling large scale renewable energy integration.- Analyzing the techno-economic effects of transportation sector and building sector electrification.- Communicating research activities through journal publications, presentations and webinars.In this role I have lead a research project for the Canadian Energy Modelling Initiative.

- Worked as a Research Intern at the European Space Research and Technology Centre as a member of the Centre's Advanced Concepts Team. - Performed multidisciplinary research in the fields of computational materials science and biomimetics with applications to deep space exploration.- Developed computational models of photonic crystals with controllable reflectivity.- Applications included thermal control of satellite instrumentation and attitude control of solar sails.
