The Vice Chair role involves supporting the Chairperson in overseeing and guiding the strategic direction and decision-making processes within East Grampians Health Service. Working collaboratively with the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team to ensure effective governance and implementation of policies and initiatives.

The Clinical Consultative Committee provides a forum for communication between Medical Staff and East Grampians Health Service Board and Senior Personnel. Key guiding principal is to actively engage and partner with consumers, demonstrate ownership and accountability of quality and safe care, and participate in regular evaluation and monitoring of performance to inform improvement.

The Governance Committee works with the Chief Executive (CE) to review and develop East Grampians Health Service’s (EGHS) leadership system and practices. The committee monitors organisational performance, conducts the annual CE performance review and oversights the annual board evaluation process. The committee supports the CE to achieve EGHS’s strategic goals: Better Health, Better Access and Better Care. The Governance Committee is committed to innovation and improvement.

East Grampians Health Service’s Building for the Future Foundation offers scholarships to individuals to enhance and develop their knowledge and learn new skills. The main objective of the Foundation bursaries is to assist in providing a workforce that is appropriately qualified to meet our and the next generation’s health requirements. All East Grampians Health Service staff are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

To be known as "Telstra Business Technology Centres", there are 28 territories across Australia and I was one of 19 selected for ownership. Our territory is "Victoria North" and we have kicked off in the amazing town of Shepparton.

Selected as one of 7 to represent our 50+ fellow Telstra Business Centre Owners from across the country to the hierarchy of the Telstra Small Business channel. Expectations are to,- Contribute and help develop strategies as the channel transitions through an ICT journey- Gather and present collective feedback on behalf the Licensee community- Provide feedback on key business information including Quarterly Sales & Service Plans, incentives & initiatives in advance- Discuss issues & opportunities and help provide direction for the channel

Launching in July 2014 Howdy has become the differentiator that identifies our customers are dealing with a business that has a firm grounding in their local community. With the appointment of a Retail Operations Manager within the group in April 2015 I am concentrating on our Business Operation. My direct responsibility is Telstra Business Centre Warrnambool & Horsham, Howdy Call Centre and Howdy ICT.

In July 2012 current ownership and structure of the company remained the same as we launched our new brand name HOWTEL. This name has become who we work for and what we are about, HOWTEL - Excercising Communication. Currenly employing around 70 people across 6 sites in Ararat, Hamilton, Horsham, Warrnambool & North Melbourne in Telecommunications and Information Technology Sales & Service under the brand of Telstra, the leading Telco company in Australia.

In December 2009 I become joint Owner & Director of the company that owned the Telstra Stores in Ararat & Horsham and purchased the stores in Hamilton & Warrnambool.

In April of 2008 I changed industries moving from Fast Food to Telecommunications. Starting as Manager of the Telstra Licensed Store in Ararat I worked my way up to Operations Manager of the Ararat & Horsham stores.

In December 2001, after consulting my current boss I made an approach to the Owner of the McDonald's Restaurant back in Horsham for the recently opened position of Restaurant Manager. Starting in January 2001 over the next 7 years this business expanded from 1 to 3 restaurants. Over the same period I moved from Restaurant Manager of Horsham to the Restaurant Supervisor of all 3.

In November 1996 my boss, the then licensee of the McDonald's Restaurant in Horsham asked me to move to Melbourne as he had purchsed the Ormond Restaurant. During my 4 years there I worked my way up and spent a majority of this time as the 1st Assistant Manager.

Starting as a Casual Crew Member working after School and wekend shifts, worked my way up to 2nd Assistant Manager
