I am a Professor at UNSW Law & Justice and the Head of School for the School of Law, Society & Criminology. I am a former director of the Connected Waters Initiative, and a member of the leadership team of the Global Water Institute, UNSW Sydney. I was also a member of The Australian Panel of Experts on Environmental Law (APEEL). I research and teach in the areas of environmental law, natural resources law, energy law and water law, with a focus on regulation and governance. I advise and work closely with Australian and international government and non-government organisations on a range of environmental and natural resource management issues. I also serve on or chair various steering and academic committees.
