Data Analytics Programmer
CurrentSA NT DataLink is part of an Australian wide national data linkage network - the Population Health Research Network (PHRN). The establishment of SA NT DataLink in 2009 as a collaboration between the Northern Territory and South Australia partners supports important population-based data linkage research to inform many areas of policy and service development within South Australia and the Northern Territory and nationwide.Duties:As a Data Analytics Programmer, I contribute to maintain South Australia (SA) and Northern Territory (NT) data in Custodian Controlled Data Repository (CCDR) for linkage research projects. Moreover, perform Data validation and quality control prior to load the de-identified content data to CCDR. Data extraction for data custodian and ethically approved linkage projects using programming software such as SQL and R. Furthermore, create dashboards with data visualization tools including Ms Excel/Tableau/PowerBI. Also, I Contribute to design and development of software analytics systems as per the research requirements, maintaining software systems and program code to meet the needs of the researchers and all other stakeholders. Actively monitor, and performance tune the existing analyticssystems and consult, collaborate, and coordinate with stakeholders on business requirements. Prepare Standard operating Procedures for routine practices for data integration unit.Achievements:• Contributed to deliver data linkage projects within the agreed timeframe.• Contribute to develop software analytic systems.• Developed the data dictionaries for the available datasets including SA Heath and Birth Death and Marriages, Australian Coordinating Registry. • Received constant positive feedback from staff for continually exceeding expectations.• Collaborated in annual information security manual review at SA NT DataLink.• Constant positive feedback from staff for continually exceeding expectations.
