The creative decisions of Camila Bossolan are informed by her dynamic, sassy personality and her taste for the efficiency of a well-devised grid and minimalist design. A die-hard fan of Swiss modern graphic design, she carries the orderliness and elegance learned from the likes of Josef Müller-Brockmann over to the miscellaneous image-based media that she works with, from digital to publishing, from video to photography.Camila’s work bears the distinctive feature of possessing quality for no apparent reason; not by chance, she is an admirer of the Bauhaus, and of metro maps. One contributing factor is her eye for detail, which the creative director honed over the course of 15 years working on projects for internationally relevant brands.Camila started her own creative director studio in 2014, following a stint as art director and designer for the award-winning british-swiss agency Winkreative, founded by Tyler Brûlé, and based in London. She has since been turning out projects driven by solid concepts translated into an accessible language, with an invariably versatile, client-centered approach. With each new project, Camila will enlist talent on demand from a global network of graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, stylists, set designers, makeup artists, digital marketing strategists and developers.Some of Camila’s creations are featured in the book "Winkreative Design Studios: A global view on branding, design and publishing" (Gestalten), including the 8 Ties Project platform created for Hermès, and The Calvert Journal, which respectively won Best Use of Animation or Motion Graphics at The Webby Awards and Best Designed Site at The Drum Online Media Awards.Her client portfolio spans a variety of sectors, including but not limited to: The Whitechapel Art Gallery, Curzon Cinemas, The Belvedere Hotel, BMW Group, L’Officiel Italia, Vogue Magazine, and MINI (The Mini International Magazine).
