As a PHD candidate at University of Vermont, I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and understanding of infectious diseases and immunology. I have a MS degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where I conducted research on the molecular mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis and host response. I also have a BA degree in History from University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I developed my critical thinking and writing skills. I have over four years of work experience in academic and public health settings, where I have applied my skills in plasmid cloning, cell culture, western blotting, and other molecular and cellular techniques. I have also contributed to multiple publications, presentations, and grants in the field of microbiology and immunology. I am a team player, a problem solver, and a lifelong learner, who strives to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of people and communities.
