Reporting to the General Manager, responsible for:- Coordinating in the process of VAT refund for non resident companies - Implementation in Italy and project leading of Management of the registration and compliance linked to the foreign VAT registrations of large-sized companies - Consultancy and planning on the optimization of the tax burden of large-sized multinational companies mainly in connection to VAT and customs - Specific projects and audit and due diligence activities - Redefinition of company’s process- Training/coaching on specific tax issues to company employees (managers and assistants) - Management of a team composed of 10 resources- Cooperation with other corporate departments and functions- Reporting directly to the Sales Director and leading the sales activity of the department related products- In charge of sales integration execution and reporting (Sales pipeline integration, Sales enablement, Partners network integration)- Initiated a number of co-selling and production partnerships- Developed strong relationships within the Italian tax authorities and took charge of a number of key accounts of our head company or subsidiary especially under the relationship with the authorities aspect. - Start-up of new offers: enlarged the business by implementing new offers aimed at widening the action field of the company and preventing from the risks given by the change in the legislation.- Passage from a “VAT” to a TAX” department:▪ Set up of the department reporting and coordination system▪ Start up of new business/partnership relationships▪ Took the lead in facilitating and coordinating the international exchange of information within group subsidiaries, setting up and moderating periodical conference calls/meetings

Reporting to the reference partner, my activities involved:- Advisory and assistance at both domestic and international level with reference to direct and indirect taxation - Tax planning both on corporate and individual basis (estate transfers, trusts); - Tax issues connected to financial markets (domestic and international financings, financial products, securitizations, private equity structures); - transfer pricing;- structure of personnel remuneration (stock option plans, drawing up of tax clauses within employment agreements).
