I worked as the head research assistant for design professor Bryan Howell. I helped develop and perform experiments and write and edit papers, as well as present our findings in international design conferences. We have collaborated with BYU students and international researchers on studies on color perception, design pedagogy, and packaging design.

Storytelling is an important communication tool in the design process. As IDEO Munich’s first Storytelling Intern, I used a wide variety of design skills to explore human behavior and communicate human solutions in a compelling narrative. From photography to creative writing to cinematography to building prototypes to hanging a wall of photos, I did basically everything.
