Effectively coordinated the corporate EMS across multiple sites and a complex contract with the MOD. Involved in the successful transition to the new ISO14001:2015 standard and responsible for driving the environmental policy and processes as well as influencing business objectives and targets to meet all stakeholder requirements. Responsible for carrying out internal audits, providing a yearly environmental review and communicating industry best practice, legislation updates and new governmental and MOD policies to all sectors of the business.Main area of focus was on the corporate Utility Management Bureau (UMB) and delivering three major surveys across multiple sites including a metering survey, utility consumption survey and renewables survey. Responsibilities included the accurate monitoring and measurement of energy consumption, carbon and cost as well as rolling out the exchange of smart meters across multiple sites.A Chartered Waste Manager who has developed a corporate Sustainable Waste Management Strategy and instrumental in a number of initiatives to ensure compliance and sustainable waste management including the re tender of the company's national waste framework agreement. A key objective was to control ammunition and pyrotechnics from entering the waste stream. Designed a monitoring and measuring tool in collaboration with WRAP to capture waste data from across the many devisions of the business.

Project Officer managing a budget and working to achieve targets set to increase composting in Wiltshire and raise awareness of waste minimsation to the general public and communities across the county. Part of this role is to recruit and support over 80 volunteers who promote composting within their own communities.
