Co-Team Captain For Dance MarathonDance Marathon At San Diego State University Jun 2023 - PresentSan Diego State UniversityServing as the Co-Team Captain for Mortar Board Team for the Dance Marathon fundraiser 2023-2024 school year. This initiative is a year-long fundraising effort benefiting the patients and families at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Our fundraising efforts culminate in an overnight, 18-hour event to educate, inspire, fundraise, celebrate, and make everlasting miracles. Since the first event in 2015 for Dance Marathon at SDSU, over $1.9 million for San Diego's sick and injured kids have been fundraised, most of it $1 at a time.During the 2021-2022 school year, I served on The Women's Network team for Dance Marathon SDSU. The total fundraising efforts across all of the teams that year totaled $400,172.22 during the 18-hour fundraising event in February of 2022. This surpassed our event goal set and helped us provide care and specialized treatments for many kids and their families at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. -
