Serving as the Co-Team Captain for Mortar Board Team for the Dance Marathon fundraiser 2023-2024 school year. This initiative is a year-long fundraising effort benefiting the patients and families at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Our fundraising efforts culminate in an overnight, 18-hour event to educate, inspire, fundraise, celebrate, and make everlasting miracles. Since the first event in 2015 for Dance Marathon at SDSU, over $1.9 million for San Diego's sick and injured kids have been fundraised, most of it $1 at a time.During the 2021-2022 school year, I served on The Women's Network team for Dance Marathon SDSU. The total fundraising efforts across all of the teams that year totaled $400,172.22 during the 18-hour fundraising event in February of 2022. This surpassed our event goal set and helped us provide care and specialized treatments for many kids and their families at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.

The Women’s Network is the largest collegiate women’s networking organization in the United States. TWN’s mission is to support collegiate and recently graduated women and celebrate ambition. The Network hosts experiential events to build relationships and authentically connect with peers, mentors, and industry leaders. I also held a position as a mentor in the Mentorship Program launched on our campus connecting ambitious women at SDSU.

Serving on the Executive Board for the San Diego State University Jane K. Smith Cap and Gown Chapter of Mortar Board. This is a National Honor Society for college seniors that has been governed by students for over 100 years. It is an intergenerational group of leaders, chosen for their achievements, and united for local and national philanthropy. Mortar Board is a national network of honor societies committed to scholarship, leadership, and service that is the first national honor society started by women students for women students. It is also home to thousands of alumni who are devoted to the goals of the society, committed to its future, and proud to serve the next generation of Mortar Boarders.

The Future Physical Therapist Organization is made up of hardworking and driven students at San Diego State University who are interested in the field of physical therapy. Through our various events and resources, we aim to create a successful community of tomorrow’s physical therapists by providing education about physical therapy and graduate school requirements, networking opportunities, and involvement in the community. We are guided throughout our undergraduate career by our experienced board and supported by our fellow members.

KORE, the Kinesiology Organization Revolutionizing Exercise student organization at San Diego State University, is dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and nutrition to our fellow community. As members, we are able to couple our knowledge gained through our undergraduate program within the College of Health and Human Services with hands-on experience working with clients. We have a variety of guest speakers, graduate program facility tours, panels, workshops, and certification programs as resources for members of this organization to build their foundation for their future careers.

Managed social media account for the Pre-Occupational Therapy Student Association. Promoted events and guest speakers within the field of Occupational Therapy. Served on the Executive Board for the 2022-2023 school year. The Pre-Occupational Therapy Student Association (POTSA) servesto enhance our members' knowledge of occupational therapy by providing various resources essential to succeeding in the field. Members have opportunities to connect with practitioners, their fellow peers, SDSU faculty, and the community through volunteer work, observation, and guest presentations. POTSA assists members with the graduate school application process through peer support, facilitation of workshops, and graduate school visits, in addition to other events. We aim to inspire students to form meaningful connections with the world of occupational therapy.

Worked with a renowned Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer specializing in mobility treatments. Followed individualized therapy plans for around 10 patients per day, including several team evaluations. Set up post-recovery treatments such as NormaTec dynamic-air compression and Hypervolt sessions. Instructed in the interactive curriculum of "The Trail Guide of the Body" and applied the concepts and knowledge to each of my patients and the treatment of their preexisting conditions.

Led groups of 10 to 15 children at a time through a personalized curriculum with corrections to aid in level advancement. Taught American Sign Language and elementary music education to the younger groups. Spotted gymnasts through various skill progressions. Worked with children ages 4 months to 12 years old.
