In this role I represented and advised Government agencies in a variety of constitutional, human rights and public law matters, including appearances at most levels of New Zealand's court system. My work included human rights issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, discrimination, prisoners' rights, religious freedom, free speech/hate speech, electoral law, and the separation of powers.
