I'm an aerospace engineer turned science communicator, content creator, and public speaker, telling optimistic and accessible stories about space technology and its crucial role in shaping our world and future.After over 5 years in the space industry, building, selling, and marketing cutting-edge space technologies, I realized how much the value of space is often overlooked. From GPS to weather forecasting, climate monitoring, financial systems, and so much more, space technology is foundational to our modern lives.However, public and political support for space has waned over the years, impacting the industry’s ability to develop the next generation of innovations that can benefit humanity both on and off Earth.Through effective storytelling and prioritizing marketing efforts, we can break down negative stigmas and misconceptions, ensuring the industry is set up for long-term success.In 2020, I started my space and science channel, The Galactic Gal, while still working in the space industry. My mission is to empower and inspire others — especially women and underrepresented minorities — to pursue STEM careers, while keeping the public engaged with the rapidly evolving space industry.
