Bientôt diplômée de l'ESBS, avec un double diplôme ingénieur-master en biotechnologies et analyse à haut-débit, j'ai réalisé mon stage de fin d'étude chez Sanofi sur le site de Marcy-L'Etoile. Mon projet est assez transversal et consiste à automatiser les procédés de fermentation pour le développement de vaccins en R&D. Je prends également part à de nombreuses discussions regroupant des collaborateurs aux profils variés. Ce stage a renforcé ma volonté de travailler dans l'automatisation appliquée à l'industrie pharmaceutique car ce secteur d'avenir allie à la fois le travail à la paillasse et le travail sur l'ordinateur, nécessitant des compétences expérimentales et computationnelles que j'ai pu développer au cours de mes études et de mes stages. J'ai l'opportunité de continuer ma mission de stage en tant que prestataire grâce à Consultys.J'ai également un grand intérêt pour la génomique, la bio-informatique, l'immunologie et la biologie végétale. I did my final internship at Sanofi (Marcy-L'Etoile, France). My project is quite transversal with the main focuses being on automation and fermentation process development. I take part in many discussions with collaborators coming from various fields. This internship has strengthened my desire to work on automation applied to biopharmaceutical processes as it combines both experimental and computational approaches. Je participe à la preuve de concept d'un logiciel visant à automatiser et optimiser les procédés de fermentation bactérienne ainsi que la centralisation et l'échange des données dans le cadre du développement de vaccins.Afin d'examiner les critères de succès obligatoires pour l'implémentation du logiciel à un plus grand niveau, il faut à la fois prendre en main le logiciel afin de pouvoir exploiter toutes ses fonctionnalités mais aussi réaliser des fermentations de bactéries en bioréacteurs afin de générer des données. Ce stage est donc à l'interface entre travail à la paillasse et travail sur l'ordinateur. Il nécessite également une grande capacité de communication et des connaissances générales dans différents domaines notamment lors des réunions regroupant des collaborateurs aux profils divers (digital, analytique, scientifique...).------For my internship project in the Vaccine Drug Substance Development unit, I am responsible of the development of vaccines processes. I am taking part in the proof of concept of a new software that aims to automate and optimize bacteria fermentation processes and that could be used for data centralization and sharing in vaccine development. To evaluate the mandatory success criteria needed for the implementation of this new tool at a greater scale, I had to get familiar with the software interface to explore all its functionalities and to realize bacteria fermentation in bioreactors to generate data. This internship is at the interface between lab work and computing. An important part of the work also resides in the communication of the results and issues. Furthermore, a global knowledge of different fields is required to be able to take part in meetings with collaborators from various horizons (digital, analytical science, scientists…). -
