• I worked to improve the user experience of the Afresh mobile app. The iPad app is used by thousands of grocery store department managers (at some of the largest chains nationwide) to write produce orders daily.
• In addition to designing features to improve the app for our users, I conducted in-person & remote user research in the discovery, testing & post-launch validation phases of projects.
• And I worked closely with product to holistically adapt & expand our app to work for new grocery departments (deli, meat, bakery).

• As the first Product Designer at Full Harvest, a Series A agtech startup, I defined UX and UI standards across our platform. I incrementally redesigned the majority of our three-sided platform as we built out new.
• During my 2+ years at Full Harvest, we went from operating as a traditional produce broker to bringing the majority of the sales process online.
• Worked closely with Product to identify areas of opportunity and define the product roadmap for our team.
• Responsible for owning the brand design of Full Harvest from the online experience to our marketing materials to the “Verified Rescued Produce” seal featured on the yogurt container we partnered with Danone to produce.

• While at AppDirect, I transitioned to the Product team where I was the sole designer for three engineering teams: Marketplace, Account Management, and Reseller Payments.
• I contributed to and helped maintain our Design System in Storybook.
• Presented my designs at our 500+ person annual conference in Oct 2018.
• I redesigned our account pages (log in, password reset, account activation) and related flows to improve the out-of-the-box customer experience.

The sole designer at an innovative food-tech startup. Designed everything, including packaging, website, print assets, conference displays, and digital ads. Also produced our application video for Shark Tank— we appeared on Shark Tank Season 8 Ep. 7

Designed a wide variety of assets for small business clients. Specialized in investor and sales pitch decks for start-ups. Also built out brand identities and websites for clients in solar, real estate, retail, politics, and vegan food. Life was never dull!

Koforidua, Eastern Region, GH

Interned with a company in Koforidua, Ghana that builds durable and environmentally friendly tools to help people be more efficient in their daily lives. Products like home solar power systems, the world’s most fuel-efficient gari roaster, and a low smoke charcoal cook stove.

Worked with a nonprofit that uses the power of local communities to reduce energy consumption. At the time, Claremont was competing against 50 US cities for a $5 million prize in the Georgetown Energy Competition to reduce the most energy consumption per capita— an incredible townwide effort for the environment.

Interned at Sungevity as a marketing jack of all trades. Developed creative content (mostly videos) for online marketing campaigns. Created a marketing strategy to address the obstacle of transferring a solar lease in the case of a home sale; included designing flyers and a web page.

The best athletic store in Greenwich. Also organizes all running, biking & swimming races in town. Family-run since 1979.

Managed the Sustainability Integration Office’s Greenware program, which supplies sustainable dinnerware sets to events on campus. Provided reusable plates, silverware, cups & compost bins to nearly 3,000 people over the course of a semester, saving countless paper and plastic items from the landfill.

Skyview is a solar development and financing company that I worked with multiple summers during college. Primarily, I wrote grants to help fund community solar projects in Fairfield, Norwalk & Westport, CT (they have all since been built). Contributed to the signing of contracts for 20 SRECs and 2 megawatts of solar facilities through client outreach.
