Puncture Mechanism Team• Designed a stronger detent for closing the puncture mechanism of a Keurig 2.0 K400 series brewer • Tested design in SOLIDWORKS Simulation and sent revisions to the manufacturer for tooling modification• Independently investigated the root cause and severity of failed brews in Keurig coffee makers • Isolated and tested coffee brewing variables in order to see the effects on coffee grounds that exit the pod • Brainstormed design ideas that targeted the root causes of diritiness in the puncture mechanism • Prototyped using a 3d printer and tested multiple iterations of designs• Performed Engineering Build by doing thorough testing on the first set of a new line of brewers

• Authored 3 SOLIDWORKS in-product tutorials on DimXpert and Model Based Definition (MBD)• Created a Tips and Tricks deck for Value Added Resellers (VARs) to learn SOLIDWORKS MBD• Reported bugs found in SOLIDWORKS MBD 2016 Beta to development team• Authored blogs about tech tips that were posted on the My.SolidWorks website and an internal Professional Channel Community website. My blog received over 1,000 hits and was also posted on the SOLIDWORKS LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook pages• Used 2D Drawings to create and annotate SOLIDWORKS models for 3D PDF output using MBD

I lead daily tours for prospective high school students interested in applying to Tufts. I helped produce publications including "JUMBO"​ magazine and I blogged as part of the student blog series "Jumbo Talk." I also received visitors at the check-in desk and completed data entry.
