I'm an interdisciplinary social impact leader, facilitator, and creative entrepreneur based in Portland, working globally. I'm also the founder of Interplay, a full-service social impact consultancy built to design justice-driven solutions for people, places, and our planet. As a recent Portland Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award recipient, my demonstrated history of blueprinting equitable transformation has cemented me as a thought-leader and strategist in community economic development, urban planning and placemaking, environmental sustainability, and public health.My relentless pursuit of transformative impact has led me to dedicate over a decade of my career to mobilizing communities, mission-driven organizations, and ambitious individuals to solve our society’s most pressing issues to achieve sustainable, justice-driven change. Using my expertise in strategic communications and community engagement, I've designed successful strategies, projects, and campaigns for organizations working to accelerate progress on complex social issues — from addressing Oregon’s opioid crisis, building equitable economies in urban cities, funding clean energy infrastructures, to expanding immigrants’ rights movements. My impactful methodologies have been embraced by a spectrum of organizations including Amnesty International, The Oregon Health Authority, B Lab, Resonance, EcoNorthwest, Native American Youth and Family Center Action Fund, and more. I've also linked arms with entrepreneurs, small businesses, and large global agencies to promote social change initiatives, campaigns, products, and resources that span education, technology, fashion, and wellness — creating meaningful impact and increased engagement for brands such as Hannah Anderson, Briar Baby, Phenomenal, Etsy, PDX Parent, Artifact Uprising, and Knot Springs.As a founding executive board member of The Conscious Kid, I create cutting-edge strategies and content to advance the organization’s mission of supporting young children, families, and educators in disrupting racism and inequity.
