I have 5 years of experience as an ELL teacher in the elementary, middle school, and technical education levels, 1 year of experience as a Spanish TA at the college level. I like my lessons to be dynamic and student centered, with a high focus on students' educational, professional, and cognitive needs. I have kept myself up-to-date with the use of technologies in the classroom since before the pandemic. It is important for me to stay involved in the community, therefore I have been a volunteer in different organizations aimed to supply for the educational needs of the members of the community, notably the YMCA Colombia, and Crawfordsville Adult Resource Academy. I have four years of experience as a US State Department grantee, from 2010 to 2012 in ACCESS Microscholarship (Colombia), from 2015-2016 in Community College Initiative Program (Wisconsin, US) and from 2020-2021 in Fulbright Foreign Language Teacher Assistant (Indiana, US). I also hold a TOEFL IBT 114/120 certificate and a TKT 3 modules 3 bands certificate.
