Camilo Valencia is a Petroleum Engineer who received his degree from the University of Surcolombiana in Neiva, Colombia. Attended the Transformative Business Leadership, as well as the International Management in Oil program in the IHRDC in Boston, first promotion of TBL Colombia 2011 and Master of business administration degree on course from the Sergio Arboleda University Bogotá, Colombia and joined Pacific E & P on December of 2002. Prior to this, Mr. Valencia was working for oil & gas companies such as Omimex de Colombia Limited (currently), Pacifpetrol & Rioalto Petrobell (Ecuador), Perenco Colombia Limited and some oil & gas Services Companies. He is a member of the Colombian Petroleum Association. Camilo has been in the oil industry more than 23 years in various roles.Mr. Valencia has had a successful career and has served in a number of positions at Pacific E&P, including Drilling Manager 2002-2004, Operations Manager 2005-2006, General Manager 2006-2008, Executive vice-president of Meta Petroleum Limited 2008-2012, President of Pacific E&P Peru 2012-2014, where he was in charge of developing the offshore and jungle operation of the company in this country, he was in charge of the Pacific E&P Mexico unit 2014-2015, after 2015 returned to Colombia as Corp Operations VP in Pacific E&P and Frontera Energy. In 2018, holds the role as Senior Energy, oil and gas advisor as well as COO of New Stratus Energy, a Canadian public Company listed on TSX.
