Cross-cutting impact on Prevsis technology teams:- Founded the first team of data engineers and cloud solutions who focused on the decoupling through AWS serverless.- Supported the architecture design of AI-based applications.- Laid the foundations for the CI/CD strategies of products developed around AWS technology.- As a tech lead, I actively participated in the recruiting processes, held workshops, and conducted training sessions around the AWS certifications.- Managed the productive data environment, alarm configuration and retries.- In some seasons I supervised the BI team regarding daily operations, coordinating deliveries to clients and reporting directly to the Prevsis management team.2. Data architecture:- Developed, managed, and supported the migration from the previous data stack to massive data processing with Spark.- I designed the ETL reduction strategy through parameterizable pipelines, as well as the reduction of costs and processing times.- Based on the large scale of productive dashboards that are managed, we implement automated data quality unit tests, as well as standardized and parameterizable dashboards, reducing review and deployment times.- Design and implement the data architecture for the new version of the product based on Iceberg, supporting streaming and batch multi-client data processing.3. Authoring, public speaking and Amazon Web Services- Co-author of the first Prevsis post on the AWS Business Intelligence Blog.- Speaker at official AWS workshops for Latam communities and Amazon QuickSight users.- Speaker at the National Association of Health, Safety and Environment Professionals in Colombia (ASONAP) about strategies for data management.- Lead the first AWS Data Lab project on DataOps in Latam. Data warehouse migration:- Develop PoC's to migrate the data processing from SQL Server to a serverless data stack on AWS.- New way of working in the data team is established based on Prevsis first corporate data lake for advanced analytics.- This framework opens new possibilities to data products like send data to clients's data lakes or send notifications with processed data.- In terms of team scaling and agility to develop products, I built the foundations to separate the development and production environments in AWS, as well as the mechanisms to migrate infrastructure between them.- Lead training and workshops on AWS technologies for internal technology teams.2. BI team:- Leadership of the first (international) team of business intelligence engineers at Prevsis, coordinating dashboard developments, technical decisions and support for corporate clients.- This team managed to standardize the dashboards and data results of the Prevsis applications to clients.- During this period Prevsis changes its product strategy towards a SaaS platform whose center is based on embedded analytics.Technologies: Database Migration Service, Glue, Athena, S3, SES, Lambda, QuickSight, Python, Lake Formation, RAM.

Analytics for senior management:- Collaboration with security directors and managers to define data analysis regarding corporate risk reduction strategies.- Develop dashboards that met the expectations and needs of reportability in occupational health and safety, and the environment.- Training and continuous support to security directors and managers who used the dashboards for their corporate reports and decision making.2. Data management in Prevsis:- Expand the range of analytics services by integrating multiple modules of the Prevsis systems (indicators, event reporting, activity programs, action plans, etc.)- Migrate reports from web applications to Amazon QuickSightTechnologies: Amazon QuickSight, SQL Server, Python.

During those years I worked as independent consultant to enhance data analysis methodologies and perform the analytics in Ph. D. (2), Master (3) and Undergrad (8) thesis in areas such as Management, Pharmacology, Odontology, Health and Speech Therapy, among others.

Head of the Statistics Department outreach initiatives. During the period I was in charge to contact educational schools, maintain social media networks and coordinate educational internships of the department.
