With extensive fieldwork experience in geotechnical investigation on Tier 1 projects, including the M1 2RT Pacific Motorway Extension with John Holland and Gamuda, Singleton Bypass with Acciona, Snowy Hydro 2.0 with UGL, and Thunderbolt Wind Farm with Neoen, I have successfully managed teams of up to 5 rigs and coordinated access to investigation locations. I have supervised various drilling techniques such as diamond drilling (HQ, NQ, PQ, NMLC), Reverse Circulation Drilling, Auger Drilling, Wash Boring Drilling and Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT). My responsibilities included conducting soil and core logging, and chip sampling for geological logging following Australian Standards, staff training on soil and core logging, geological mapping, and sample collection (soil, rock, water), labelling, preparing chain of custody, and sending samples to the laboratory, ensuring accurate onsite data/photo collection.I ensured the health and safety of onsite crews by preparing SWMS and Fieldwork Health, Safety, and Environment Checklists, maintaining the schedule and quality of work. Additionally, I created logs in OpenGround and gINT, generated geological cross-sections and geotechnical reports, wrote proposals, and communicated effectively with stakeholders.

I developed a comprehensive plan to tackle the geotechnical study for eight solar farm projects in Colombia. This involved conducting extensive fieldwork and collecting geological data to support mapping and analysis activities. Using GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS, I produced detailed geological maps and executed geospatial analyses to identify patterns and trends in the geological data. Additionally, I performed risk assessments for flooding and mass wasting, providing actionable recommendations for their mitigation. My efforts culminated in the preparation of thorough geotechnical reports, which I presented to clients and stakeholders.

I conducted laboratory research and analysis of rock and water samples using various spectroscopic techniques, including Atomic Absorption, UV-Vis, and FTIR, as well as crystallographic analysis (XRD) and microscopic analysis (SEM). My role involved preparing and maintaining accurate laboratory records, analyzing and interpreting data, and generating detailed reports based on the findings. Additionally, I managed laboratory operations, overseeing quality control procedures and equipment maintenance to ensure the integrity and accuracy of results.
