I am Camilo Ayala Monje, a creative leader in design, cultural management, and digital communication. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, I have a passion for art, culture, and innovation. My education at the Universidad de los Andes, where I earned a Master’s degree in Design and pursued studies in Digital Humanities, provided me with the tools necessary to explore and understand the complex intersections between technology, design, and society.Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on projects that have allowed me to apply my knowledge and skills in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment. As a marketing consultant, I have supported organizations and educational institutions in strengthening their online presence, optimizing processes, and increasing visibility. My expertise in SEO, SEM, data analysis, and UX/UI enables me to offer effective solutions that drive brand growth.In my role as a cultural manager, I have worked on projects that have brought art and culture closer to diverse audiences. In Banco de la República, I was part of projects with national and global impact; initiatives such as the launch of new family coins, the promotion of exhibitions and cultural spaces, and virtual tours—in collaboration with the Google Cultural Institute—reflect my interest in creating new channels of dialogue with diverse audiences, allowing millions of people to enjoy Colombia’s cultural heritage from anywhere in the world.As a university professor, I have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and passion for design with new generations. At Universidad de los Andes and Universidad Sergio Arboleda, I have taught courses on participatory and strategic design, material experimentation, and generative design, inspiring my students to develop creative projects and think critically.My research focuses on the intersection of design, technology, and the humanities. I am particularly interested in generative design and co-creation, topics I explore in my academic publications and international conferences.Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about music, especially rock and classical music. I also love traveling and exploring new cultures. Cities like Madrid, New York, Miami, and Rome have deeply inspired me with their rich history, architecture, and art.
