Provided counsel on web conference flow for annual Synapse National's "Future Leaders in Brain Injury Conference" connecting undergraduates with clinicians, scientists, and athletic trainers/coaches specialized in traumatic brain injury (TBI). Weekly meetings to refine plans and outreach for recruitment of professionals until November 2024. During the winter season, priorities will pivot toward creating professional graphics and top-down outreach of university students across the nation.

Project 1: Human Sleep Study. Configured electrodes to generate human EEG/ECG data for preliminary setup of long-term sleep project with Dr. Horacio de la Iglesia's mentorship. Seasonal project will resume in December 2024 for further patient intake. Trained in good clinical practice and human subjects clinical research with the Seattle Children's Hospital Sleep Clinic.Project 2: Owl Monkeys. Currently learning and using R to preprocess accelerometer data from nocturnal and diurnal non-human primates in captivity. Will contrast controlled primate lunar patterns against human populations under rural/urban light conditions to elucidate non-photic determinants affecting sleep across species.

In Presidential role: Directed task flow, deadlines, and quarterly schedule with intention of expanding club membership. Led officer meetings and organizational meetings with 50+ attendance at first event, and 200+ in-person pitch/engagement during recruitment day.In Events Coordinator role: Organized bi-weekly panelist and community-building events with 300+ undergraduate attendance. Expanded social media network by 150% over eight months through LinkedIn outreach of panelists featuring doctors, scientists, and PhD candidates.

Analyzed osteoclast populations present in stains of peripheral blood mononuclear cells across four experimental groups for clinical study with Dr. Yongdong Zhao investigating chronic nonbacterial myelitis (CNO) in pediatric patients. Trained and used ImageJ and OneDrive for database management. Shadowed for 15+ hours and learned how clinical researchers (specialty: pediatric neurology) inquire guardians for research consent, use thermal imaging to detect inflammation, perform physical exams, and interact with patients while charting. Current Project Status: Abstract submitted for review.

Personalized curriculum for 100+ students in Physiology Lab course via weekly feedback meetings with teaching faculty. Designed test questions for brain, heart, eye, and renal units to help students overcome weaknesses. Judged and graded 30+ research posters for scientific accuracy and student cohesive presentation to improve student research literacy & presenting skills.

Edited and published trailer and interview long-form content using Final Cut Pro for 300+ attendance annual Evening with Neuroscience (EWN) featuring scientist/research panel and live human brain dissection. Promoted merchandise sales with positive consumer interaction while managing storefront during EWN 2022. Analyzed and critiqued research literature for proper citation and accuracy.
