I am a Software Engineer and Entrepreneur located in Centennial, CO. After attending Red Rocks, I completed Hack Reactor's 12-week Advanced Software Immersive in December 2022. Post-graduation, I gained real-world experience as an engineer with Square before starting Montgomery Family Enterprises, which will launch its first offering in 2024.When it comes to development, I primarily use Typescript/JS, Node.js, Next.js, React.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS. While these are my go-to tools, I have experience in other languages, frameworks, and tools and an understanding of DevOps. I am also involved with various non-profits and state programs such as WarriorNow, a 501(c)3 located in Colorado, focusing on the recovery and rehabilitation of veterans experiencing mental health crises, homelessness, addiction, and/or judicial involvement, where I assisted in the organizations launch, program and services development, and its growth to serving judicial districts across the state. This experience created a passion for helping judicially impacted individuals overcome the shadow of their past and not only reintegrate as contributing citizens but also thrive. I'm privileged to extend this support by mentoring veterans in Veteran Treatment Courts and providing technical mentoring to Next Chapter software engineering program participants. Additionally, I am a member of the 18th Judicial District's Problem Solving Court Steering Committee, shaping how we support our community through treatment courts.I'm always open to making new connections and fostering professional growth.
