Led the Tigo Cash product & team. Leveraging company assets and recourses to increase penetration and usage for Tigo Cash among the total 3.5 million Tigo mobile subscribers. Led product development, business development, managing relationships with partner banks and regulatory relationships.

Developed & launched mobile money for Millicom Africa in their first markets for the product. Part of a small team that did product design, technical specifications, commercial strategy and key strategic partnerships. Working with obtaining regulatory approval, designing pricing, strategy, market research and marketing.

Research project on mobile money at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, commissioned by Microsoft Research India. Two main focuses: how savings fit in to mobile money and explaining why M-PESA had such different growth in Kenya and Tanzania.
