I am an aspiring marine biologist with a passion for aquatic animals with a specialty in whales and dolphins. I have had the privilege and honor of working as an educator for SeaWorld and assisting a principal investigator with ongoing cetacean research. I love the ocean and anything that moves in it.English may be my first language, but math is my second. Early on in my academic career, I learned the value of mathematics in science (I have my father to thank for this too). My deep understanding for numbers and how mathematical models can be used has made my studies in marine biology much more interesting and insightful. Math is also just fun.Creativity is a large part of my personality. I love anything involving digital media, in particular video production. I have been a hobbyist video editor since I was a kid, and I continue to expand my skills and stay up-to-date with current software and trends. My hobby has expanded into the professional realm as I edit videos for churches, preschools, and private events. My goal is to expand my experience further and edit larger productions. Perhaps one day a feature film for the silver screen. Nature documentary anyone?
