2nd Engineer duties consisted of maintenance, servicing and fixing any problems and broken equipment on board the yacht. Deckhand duties consisted of ensuring the outside of the yacht including motorboats and Sea-Doos were ready for the guest’s enjoyment. My work took me to Florida, the Bahamas, and throughout the Caribbean and the Mediterranean which required a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.

Prepared and installed a number of different sensor types in the oil and gas industry in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Well sites consisted of SAGD wells, observation wells in both conventional oil fields and heavy oil fields, and observation wells in shale gas regions in northern BC. Managed field crews of up to 7 people. Completed a number of different reports and developed procedures for both the Engineering and Field Operations divisions.
