Through being an administrative officer at Torbanlea State School, I have learnt how to speak with parent and children about education based relations. Multi tasking is a great aspect of of being an administrative officer looking after the front desk, organising social media, looking after scheduling of events and management of confidential student relations. I have been trained in appropriate knowledge and procedures of education Queensland and act in accordance.

My experience in this role has taught me the fundamental skills of an allied health assistant such as working in an interdisciplinary team, patient manual handling, use of mobilising and rehabilitative equipment and the occupational therapy approach as OT was my department of work. My duties included:- Initial Assessments with patients or family of home environment, functionality and supports both family and aged/disability cares.- Exercises with patients prescribed by occupational therapists for rehabilitation - Audit of stock and cleaning of equipment- Orientation Logs with patients to track cognition for either decline or preparation of cognitive assessment.- Home visits either with/without occupational therapist for measurements and photography + discussion with family regarding patient information.I would be a perfect edition to an occupational therapy team as I have experience as as assistant and I am currently studying occupational therapy.

Working as a McCafe Crew Trainer I learnt my many fundamental aspects of working in a team, communication, working quickly and providing the utmost customer service. Through McDonald's I have developed a strong work ethic and passionate in everything I do. My skills as a Barista I carry through with me even now and can work under fast pressure during morning periods able to work by myself and did both open and closing shifts. I know how to shut down a machine and calibrate both pour times and grinder coarse/fineness. I am also an expert on food safety and cleaning equipment as per procedure following CAYG and FIFO respectively. I also engaged in table service and order taking with confidence and lead/trained other employees as a Crew Trainer.
