An intensive 15-week course that provides you with the skills and knowledge to become a full stack web developer.I began with a 5 week foundations getting prepared with the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Git. Followed by a 9 week bootcamp, where I was coding 60-70 hours per week. The bootcamp incorporates modern technologies used in full stack development such as Git, Node, Express, JavaScript, React, Redux, databases and test-driven develop. Alongside the tech skills was a in-depth human skills curriculum diving into wellbeing, communication, conflict, diversity and bias. Helping us to work in groups and build confidence in our ability to communicate with others.During the bootcamp we had the opportunity to put those human skills into practice.I took part in multiple full stack group projects. In these projects we followed Agile methodologies and roles. These were designed to replicate the experience of a work environment.

Responsible for customer service, data collection, sales, bookings and ticketing, membership care, and engagement with visitors.• As supervisor I was responsible for training staff, delegating tasks and overseeing the frontline team.• A key focus in my role was maintaining the biosecurity of the sanctuary. • I excelled at customer service – successfully selling admissions and upselling to tours.• I managed the stock processing and inventory in the Zealandia Store.

I worked with the Zealandia infrastructure team to help record, manage and calculate the data for the Zealandia Carbon Zero Audit.Also creating a dashboard that would provide the Senior Management Team with a forecast of carbon emissions.
