Working as part of the Project Managment Team and reporting directly to the Project Manager to support towards performing projects safely, on time and within budget. Mainly focused on projects within the fabrication business stream but with involvement in some pipeline projects.Based at the NEU region main office and fabrication shop in Evanton but regularly mobilsiing to project site location as required to undertake role of Site Engineer.Roles & Responsibilities as Project Engineer - Fabrication estimating & tendering - Revenue & margin forecasting - Collation & submission of monthly and/or milestone measures - Collation & submission of commercial variations - Project planning & scheduling - Creation of project specific procedures & documentation - Establish & maintain project specific manpower rotation plan - Progress & commercial tracking of all project activities - Creation & review of project specific equipment/consumable manifest- Support and/or chair various planning, kick-off and progress meetings internally, with clients and subcontractors Additional Roles & Responsibilities as Site Engineer - Mobilisation to project site location to manage project from site setup until final delivery - Act as SPOC for client & subcontractor reps - Produce site progress reports daily / weekly & updating of project schedule to align - Coordination & management of all Serimax and subcontract personnel on site - Compilation & final review of as-built documentation - Provide support and perform dual function of HSEQ roles

In my first year with the company, I completed a traineeship which saw me achieve two practical welding & fabrication qualifications, and a third engineering qualification achieved by completing a departmental experience throughout the company. I then achieved a HNC which relates to the core business of Serimax and a HND which relates to my position within the company. These practical and college-based qualifications were coupled with simultaneous on the job learning, which consisted of involvement in various fabrication and pipeline welding projects

Secondment from position as Project Engineer with Serimax to position of Offline Welding Coordinator for TechnipFMC at Orkanger Spoolbase.Coordination of Welding, NDT, Pipe Handling and Inspection activities relating to all offline works at the Spoolbase. Mainly focusing on the Breidablikk project but also with involvement in the Askeladd and Ruche projects.Roles & Responsibilities:- Scheduling and planning all offline works - Determining suitable work locations - Creation and issue of specific work packages - Progress tracking and reporting to Project Management Team (PMT)- Chairing weekly progress meeting with PMT and client representative - Chairing daily planning meeting with production personnel - Review of quality documentation - General coordination of welding subcontractor (welders & supervisor)- General coordination of NDT subcontractor (AUT operators)- General coordination of pipe handling subcontractor (machinery operators)- General coordination of inspection subcontractor (welding inspectors)
