I am a Medical Director and leader of high-talent teams, focused in neurology, neuroimmunology, and neuromuscular disease. Guiding my career decisions is the belief that rigorous science can improve the art of medical practice. I am dedicated to work that can make a difference in the lives of patients with devastating diseases. Toward that aim, I endeavor to gain expertise in evidence generation in both medical and clinical development aspects of pharma, and I work to develop teams that share a similar vision. My home is in northeastern Pennsylvania, but for the past 10 years I have supported research for fortune 500 companies in Boston, MA and Horsham, PA. I am flexible to fully remote, hybrid, or on-site working styles and traveling for work as needed. I have gained experience and had success with each.In considering my career path, I intend to maintain my anchor in leading science to improve the art of medicine. I will value and prioritize work with potential to make an impact on patients’ lives over title, salary, or a specific indication. Quality data generation efforts are necessary in both the development of new treatments and in improving the use of those already on market. Thus, I am open to opportunities within clinical development, medical, or other related functions as the problem demands. Select accomplishments:• Executed 3 clinical studies to validate smartphone-based digital measures, resulting in inclusion in 1 Phase II clinical trial and in the clinical development plans for 3 assets.• Advanced precision medicine methodology of 2-stage models of heterogeneous treatment effects to predict patients who would optimally benefit from initiating higher efficacy multiple sclerosis therapy.• Advanced 4 analytical workstreams, demonstrating digital solutions can improve on gold standard measures with realized improvements on the SDMT, 9-HPT, T25FW, and myotonia grip relaxation test.• Leveraged real-world and trial data on 3 occasions to gain approval for changes to EMA SmPC, including indication expansion and edits to warnings and precautions section. Also authored regulatory submissions and response documents for each.• Designed and led execution for Phase IIIB, randomized clinical trial published in top-tier journal with resulting changes to EMA SmPC.Core competencies:Clinical study design, Clinical trials, Real-world evidence, Advisory boards, Medical affairs, Clinical development, Team management, Product strategy, Strategic partnerships, Digital health technology, Research and development, Medical communications
