• Be the creative engine behind the design and creation of adidas Speed Lab and SMU product range with a specific focus on key partner relationships (NHL, CFL, MLS, MLSE)
• Be the design driver of Hot Market opportunities by constantly introducing new product and graphics
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal and external sales representatives and managers, coordinated by Speed Lab Manager, including merchandising and print design initiatives
• Provide graphics and design insight to the adidas Speed Lab division as it relates to seasonal presentations and SMU development
• Establish productive relationships with leagues, adidas global, internal and creative agency contacts to leverage all available tools and resources in particular the SLD graphic design team
• Responsible for developing and designing sell in materials, including brochures, catalogues, program booklets and other digital and print-based communication tools for adidas Licensed and Speed Lab departments

• Understand and adhere to brand guidelines for brands like Nike, Nike Golf, Arc'teryx & Loblaws
• Interpret briefs and deliver strong creative executions that meet the goals of the business
• Develop concepts to final production files for various print materials
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand tone and graphic standard across all materials
• Ensure that a high level of professionalism and quality is communicated through layout and the use of visuals
• Providing marketing materials for presentations, print, web, banners, displays, brochures, ads, fundraising events while maintaining brand and message consistency.

• ART AND DESIGN
• Creative direction of globally recognized licenses like Marvel, Disney, Lucas Films, Nickelodeon and Hasbro for DTR apparel
• Researching new design trends, fabrications, bodies, etc.
• Creation of new body templates – drawing CADS or manipulating for photo real
• Creating trend boards for presentations
• Maintaining an organized server for the art department

• Reports to Creative Director (CD)
• Work with CD to develop seasonal line plan for each Retailer & Product Category within project calendar
• Manage respective Product Category presentations (i.e., license planning, internal & external artwork needs)
• Manage artwork development with internal Artists
• Research and present graphic trends from sources like WGSN, online retailers, etc. for each season & age range
• Work with CD to prepare product / license pitch presentations (when required)

• Branding/Logo Design for new clients
• Produce Client related Business Stationery
• Design new marketing, promotional and event collateral for clients
• Design/produce print related marketing material (Direct mail & trade show products)
• Responsible for print production and delivering appropriate files (colour separations & imposition)
• Responsible for creating pre-press files for both offset printing and digital printing
