Over 20 years working in software development in different roles. I started out as a Clipper developer, worked for some years as a Support Analyst, which helped me develop some key skills to what I do today: understand people and their needs, have a general view of a system, see everything as a delicate system. As time passed, my skills developed, both in software and relationship, and I've been working in the last 10 years involved in software development directly: as a requirements analyst, scrum master, business analyst or project manager. Sometimes, two roles at once, which enables me to have a better view of what's happening and make decisions based in more than one point of view.In 2017 I added to my toolbox skills as a Coach. I've been learning a lot about new tools and processes in coaching and applying that knowledge in the way I manage the team and the project.Since late 2019 I've been working as a Product Manager. My focus has been directed to product development for the customer, bringing as many product management and analytics tools as I can to take the development to another level.Volunteer work: Rotary Club de Campo Grande Sem Fronteiras (2012) for 2 years. Club President year 2013-2014. Main work on Rotary Polio Plus program.Hobbies and other interests: music, literature, philosophy, sociology.

Operations ManagerCi&T Jul 2021 - PresentCampo Grande, Mato Grosso Do Sul, BrazilOver the last years I worked mainly as an Operations Manager. The main responsibilities are linked with Delivery, Financial and People management. In this role I had the opportunity to apply the tools I learned in previous experience, identifying in each context which tools would be the most appropriate to each situation. From PMI to Agile tools, adapting the process to the need of the team, customer and product, I could help teams and customers to improve internal processes, and achieve the agreed results.I also helped manage crisis using PDCA cycles and a metrics-driven approach, having Delivery metrics (SPI, BurnUp, Rework, Throughput etc) and Product Metrics (Infrastructure costs, Active users, Most used features) to guide the team to a better understanding and prioritization of tasks and features. All these were important to an efficient schedule and scope management, weekly aligning with stakeholders the status, risks and action plans, aiming to reach the expected results, measured by KPIs whenever it was possible.Additionally, I was responsible for the project management, including cost and staffing management, keeping costs under budget and the team motivated and engaged. -
Product Development ManagerCi&T Jan 2019 - PresentBelo Horizonte Area, BrazilThe last experience as a project manager took me to another level: Product Manager. This reminded me of my earlier experiences as a business analyst, working hard to quickly understand the business and help design the best way to deliver the product. At the end of 2019, I had the opportunity to work with a big customer and help them take a product to the next level. I helped them to design and develop this new product, based on a successful product they had but evolving it to a cloud solution, multi-customer, and analytics-based, digital product. -
Agile Coach, Project ManagerCi&T Oct 2017 - Dec 2019Campinas Area, BrazilAs a project manager, I kept my activities related to people development and took them to another level: teaching other coaches in the contract what I've learned through the years. The last two years I've face some different challenges, both in project management and in people management. I've worked with multi-site teams, travelling frequently to both sites to be closer to the team and the customer. I used video calls, slack messages and email to cover communication gaps, available to the team as much as I could, removing unnecessary meetings in my calendar to make room for the team.I was managing two large teams for 18 months. One was related to ETL and the second was an internal data product for our customer. I could apply different strategies to the teams, and started to bring Product Management concepts to the talks, such as Business KPIs, Data Analytics and Product Roadmap. -

During these two years I went back to school to study about work psychology and coaching, applying the knowledge to coach the new leaders in the project, as well as helping improve people development processes in our department. -

Scrum Master/Business AnalystDextra Sistemas Mar 2014 - Mar 2015Campinas Area, BrazilAfter 6 years in Campo Grande, I moved back to Campinas and back to the role I love the most: Scrum Master with a lot of Business Analysis on the side. Back to headquarters, I worked once again on Healthcare, this time with an insurance company. It was very interesting to understand the other side of the health system process, since I had worked with healthcare providers earlier in my career. Understand the struggles the insurance companies go through to provide their services and also to process all requests from clientes and government. The second project I worked on was related to public sector. We worked on systems that helped process and monitor all steps of a citizen request to a public office, such as tax reviews, complaints etc. It was my first real big project, with more than ten developers and two BAs. Due to my previous experience on that type of system and with customer interaction, I participated in the go live activities, on site with the client and first users, helping them to use the software during the first week. -
Scrum Master/Project ManagerDextra Sistemas Mar 2008 - Mar 2014Campo Grande Area, BrazilI moved to Campo Grande to help running the company branch, as a general manager and project manager. One of the goals was to be an onsite representative to bring the company culture and values to the new team. In this experience, besides getting to know a different culture and way of life, I also got contact with other roles I have never had before. I learnt a bit about administrating a branch, from city legal documents, to HR activities. During the six years I worked there, I helped with documents, personnel management, hiring and engagement tasks.I also worked in three main projects, described in the project section. All of them had small teams, and my role was mainly as a Scrum Master, and in some scenarios I also played the role of Project Manager. -
Requirements Manager/Business AnalystDextra Sistemas Jun 2006 - Feb 2008Campinas Area, BrazilAt Dextra I started to work as a business analyst full time. At first, we used RUP tools to define and manage requirements. I worked in many small projects, and two were the main ones, as described below. The job involved working close to customers, understanding the business and modeling it using UML diagrams and Use Case models and documents. Also, provide support to the team to develop the software the way the customer needed. As I had previous experience in public hospital, I worked mainly in healthcare projects and brazilian government clients, such as public offices and military forces.I also had the opportunity to develop a migration tool in Java. This involved understanding the legacy software and the new software data models to map entities and fields, providing insights on how to migrate the data according to the business rules. This also helped development team to find out requirements gaps in the system months before moving to production. In the last month of the project, I was part of the MTP team, training the users and supporting the early days of the system, onsite. -
It ManagerHospital Municipal Dr. Mario Gatti Aug 2002 - Dec 2005Campinas Area, BrazilAs IT Management at the hospital, I organized the department focusing on processes and systems to help the team deliver more value to the company. I created a set of metrics with help from the IT team and the Information group, to measure our team delivery and find ways to improve our service to clients. After some months, we could use the data we collected about maintenance costs and procurement, and could raise the annual budget to cover small repairs. We could also improve relationship with other departments, which made our procurement process faster. As for process, we implemented a round robin pattern to help desk support. We also used a new help desk system to help us categorize all requests made to the department and work on the root cause of the main issues, using 80/20 method to focus on the main issues.I also worked in small applications, delivering tools for many departments to help them sort out information and improve their decision making process.
